How to Write a Property Listing That Gets Inquiries

By ApnaGar Editorial · Published 8 Oct 2026 · Last updated 8 Oct 2026

A practical checklist for sellers and landlords: title, photos, price, details and contact information.

Buyers and tenants decide in a few seconds whether to open a listing or move on. These are the parts that matter most, in the order people look at them.

Photos

  • Take photos in daylight with the lights on
  • Show every room, the kitchen, bathrooms, the front of the house and the street
  • Keep the first photo clean and well framed, because it appears on search cards
  • Do not use photos of a different property

Title

A good title says the type, size and area in plain words, for example "10 marla house in Johar Town block C". Avoid capital letters everywhere, extra symbols and promises such as "best deal".

Price

Check similar listings in the same area before you set a price. A price that is realistic gets more calls than one that is far above the market. State clearly whether the price is negotiable and, for rent, whether it is monthly.

Details buyers want

  • Size in marla or kanal and covered area
  • Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors
  • Age of construction and condition
  • Gas, electricity and water availability
  • Parking and street width
  • Possession status and any pending dues

Description

Write short sentences about what is true and useful: nearby schools, markets, main roads and the condition of the house. Be honest about weaknesses. Buyers who find out later waste everyone's time.

Contact details

Use a phone and WhatsApp number that you answer. Reply to inquiries quickly, because most people contact several sellers at once.

Keep it updated

When the property is sold or rented, mark it so on your dashboard so people stop calling. If the price changes, edit the listing.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos should I add?

Add enough to show every room and the exterior, usually eight to fifteen. Clear photos matter more than a large number.

Can I edit my listing after posting?

Yes. Open your dashboard to edit, mark as sold or rented, or delete it. Edited listings go back for a quick review. More answers are in our FAQs.

Why was my listing not approved?

Common reasons are missing photos, an unclear area or wrong contact details. Fix those and submit again.

Is posting free?

Creating an account and posting a property is free during our launch period.
